Qinghai Province Luyuan Energy Storage Fire Safety Center (Luyuan Center)lyxcsafe.cn is built and operated by the Qinghai Province Green Energy Storage Fire Safety Center (Green Energy Center). It is a professional platform dedicated to energy storage fire safety in Qinghai and high-altitude regions. Under government guidance, it brings together experts from government agencies, fire research institutes, universities, power grids, energy companies, and integrators to build a professional and authoritative technical exchange platform for energy storage fire safety.
In standardization, the Green Source Center has deeply engaged in building national and industry standards. In 2024 7, it supported the development of two local standards: "Fire Protection Requirements for Photovoltaic Power Stations" and "Fire Protection Requirements for Electrochemical Energy Storage Stations." Later that year, it hosted the "Qinghai Province New Energy Fire Safety Technology Exchange Seminar and Local Standard Promotion Meeting," attended by over 80 representatives from government agencies, enterprises, and research institutions. On the international front, the Green Source Center contributed to a proposal for an innovative storage fire safety team under the State Administration for Market Regulation and completed a draft international standard titled "Smart City Management Monitoring Framework and Functional Requirements Based on IoT." This initiative was successfully approved as a project within ITU-T SG0 (the International Telecommunication Union's Study Group 20).
In recent years, the center has continued to advance standardization work: In 2025, it initiated the local standard "Technical Specifications for Liquid Nitrogen Fire Suppression Systems in Lithium-Ion Battery Energy Storage Power Stations" (under development); in 2026, it undertook the research project "Verification Method for Physical Fire Tests of Fire Protection Systems in Electrochemical Energy Storage Power Stations in Plateau Environments," and under the leadership of the General Brigade, initiated the local standard "Technical Specifications for Fire Safety of Energy Storage Systems in Intelligent Computing Centers."
