Hainan Prefecture's 10-gigawatt new energy base supporting energy storage project fully connected to the grid and operational

With the grid connection of the last 200MW/400MWh energy storage station, the total capacity of supporting energy storage at the Hainan New Energy Base reached 2.5GW/5GWh, significantly enhancing renewable energy absorption. Leveraging its abundant wind and solar resources, Hainan has advanced the construction of a ten-million-kilowatt new energy base; the full commissioning of these storage projects provides strong support for high-proportion renewable energy integration into the grid.
