Haidong Prefecture, Golmud City launches source-grid-load-storage integrated demonstration project

Geermu City, Haixi Prefecture, launched an integrated source-grid-load-storage demonstration project. With a total investment of 35 billion yuan, the project will construct 500 MW of photovoltaic capacity, 100 MW/200 MWh of energy storage, and load-side facilities to explore a new model for local consumption of high-proportion renewable energy. The supporting energy storage system will comply with the fire safety design and empirical verification requirements outlined in the "Qinghai Province Fire Safety Management Measures for Electrochemical Energy Storage Power Stations."
